I love photography. Whether it’s landscapes while traveling, a wedding, or family portraits, it’s all exciting to me. Unfortunately, we’re in a bit of a pandemic right now, which makes it difficult to get out and take photos they way we usually do.
While I’m not currently planning to do lifestyle or indoor event photos in 2020, I do think there are ways to take socially distanced photos, which is why I’m still offering portraits. I want to be cautious, but I also don’t want you to miss getting photos of your family or kids, since kids grow up so fast and time flies faster than I’d like to admit.
I know the levels of caution vary based on the person, but as you can tell, I tend to err on the side of “doing everything I can to NOT get you sick, or have you get me sick”. I’ve been able to get some good photos from a distance during this time, and I’d love to offer that for anyone looking for photos of their own.
Currently, a social distanced photoshoot would included the following:
- Your photographer wearing a mask if in close proximity at all
- The location will be outdoors, and away from crowds.
- We’ll keep 6 feet distance from each other, and I’ll direct you and your family on posing from far away.
All photos will be provided to you digitally, and all money will be handled electronically (preferably through Venmo or PayPal) prior to the shoot.
Hopefully these measures will put your mind at ease. If you’re looking to have portraits taken in the Hampton Roads, Richmond, or Fredericksburg area, please call or email today!
